ABOUT

Art is a universal language, and necessity in life, as it provides an outlet for therapeutic, collaborative, and expressive communication. Creative Collision is a Fine and Performing Arts event for adolescents in San Marcos that will allow youth to explore and expand possibilities in art related fields.

MISSION

Through examination of the event, we will determine the level of human connection, and thus collaboration, produced, and ultimately the impact art, of all forms, can have on today's youth.

Participate in the Collision Room activity. The groups with the highest scores will receive $50 e-gift cards for each group member, to further their artistic pursuits.

Students in performing arts fields showcase their talents on stage to an audience of peers and supporters. Talents ranging from music and dance, to theater and poetry.

COLLISION ROOM

In this Escape Room style activity, students will have 20 minutes to work together and come up with a creative solution to the given prompt-- incorporating music, dance,
visual art, etc.
